January

January 2025 was one for the records.

We had plenty of sunshine and very little rain.

Sunday afternoons found us in good company on the dyke trail in Rosedale.

Ranen was home from Biola at the beginning of the month and came for lunch one day.

She joined us for a walk at the Cheam Wetlands after lunch.

The girls found time to have lunch with me at the Bow and Stern one day.

That doesn't happen too often...and it was lovely!

Guess who showed up at the door on my birthday with a lovely vintage truck planter?
Aunt Maggie never forgets an occasion!

Emme and Jaden came for dinner and decided to check out their blood pressure.

All was well!

We took a little trip to Kelowna to celebrate brother-in-law John's 90th birthday.

Spent the night at Fairfield Inn and suites,
and had brunch with Ken and Lorraine Wiebe in the morning before heading home.

We may  not have had any snow at home...
but got our fix on the Coquihalla.

Marg and I hiked the new trail on Vedder Mountain in honour of our 73rd birthday...
starting at the Qoqó:lem Park.

As the sun set on January, the weatherman warned us that winter was coming!
