The golden days of summer arrived.
We rode the Rosedale dike on a very hot July Sunday…and went for ice-cream after. Of course!
On another Sunday we walked the Vedder River trail...
...and passed a bench that brought back many memories.
Twenty years ago mom joined us here and waited on this bench while we went for a walk.
A few weeks later, on July 27, 2000 she passed away.
Bittersweet memories!
Ranen travelled to Italy with Lisa.
Lucy was the smiling face at the Van Zanten corn stand…
…and we stopped by often. Chilliwack corn served up with a smile!
Jim and Kathy, Gillian and Chad and family came for a pre-Alaska cruise visit.
Bill and Jeanne, Matt and Brittney and family came from Iowa for a visit.
That called for an extended family get-together at Kris and Lina’s.
Fun for all ages!
The pool or the hot tub!
It also happened to be Jeremy and Tim’s birthday…so we ate cake!
Guess who is 50?
Jeremy and Broni celebrated his big Five-Oh with a trip to Sacramento to watch a few Blue Jays games.
We celebrated our 54th anniversary with a camping trip to Whistler at the end of the month.
Beautiful Porteau Cove is always a good place to stop for lunch on the way.
Riverside RV Resort.

We cycled the trails…
and had to wait for a black bear to wander off so we could pass.
A favorite stop for a patio lunch along the trail…Nita Lodge. Alta Lake.
A random meeting with Pam and Patrick Goossen.
Wildflowers along the trail.
The Valley trail.
Green lake.
Anniversary lunch on a patio in Village North.
Green Lake ‘air strip’.

Fitzimmons Creek, Whistler.
The water from this glacier-fed creek flows through Whistler into Green Lake, and from there north into the Green River and then the Lillooet River, before eventually connecting to the Fraser River and out to the Pacific Ocean.
And with that...the sun set on July 2025!
