March

March.  New beginnings bloom.

The green grass of home...
under the pink evening skies.

We had a few huge downpours...
and with the ditches clogged after the pipeline work,
many of the fields in our neighbourhood were flooded.

Gillian flew to BC with Colin so he could have eye surgery in Vancouver.

Bartels hosted a basketball themed party on March 2nd...
to mark the end of the BC Highschool basketball season.
We celebrated three birthdays...Lovella's, Marg's and mine.

The African Children's Choir put on a great concert at Unity Christian School.

Maggie's track season is in full swing for the year.

so as not to miss the invitational track meet at SFU.

She placed 4th in the 1500m and 2nd in the 800m...
and that was competing against university students.

She runs rain or shine...11 kms most every day. We had record rainfalls during her stay with us...and since she cannot run on her own (in case of an anaphylactic episode), I cycled beside her.

We played ping pong every day.  Though she wins at most every game she plays...

A perfect signature for the month of March!
